What is Kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a holistic touch therapy that links the rich tradition of Ancient Chinese acupuncture meridians and energy balancing with Western muscle testing of the anatomy and physiology of the client. The practitioner relies on the feedback from the receptors in the body as an indicator. This can show where in the body, and what affect stress, such as everyday demands, illness, disease, emotional issues, trauma etc can have on the body.

How are imbalances approached in a Kinesiology session?
The practitioner aims to create a professional and safe space to assist in balancing the client and enable the body to establish an environment to allow inner healing process to begin.
Once the imbalance is identified, it can be balanced a number of ways. Muscle testing is used to find the most beneficial method for each client so every experience is individual. A nutritional balance may require supplements or remedies. Other techniques such as Emotional Stress Release can address emotional imbalanced. Working with the Meridians and Acupressure points can create balance in the body and assist the healing process. Some cases may require colour or music therapy. The emphasis is on the client receiving the individualised balance, indicated by the muscle testing as health is not a one fix fits all.
Do I have to take my clothes off?
No. You remain fully clothed with just your shoes off while on the plinth.
How many sessions do I need?
The number of sessions can vary. Some cases clear in the first session, with most clients seeing a significant improvement from the first session. For those who may have suffered on-going symptoms for some time a number of sessions may be suggested to achieve considerable improvement. Often clients avail of 4-6 sessions over a couple of months.
